A Step-by-Step Guide

Create an Account

All participants need to have an account within recreation.ithaca.edu. If you are creating the team, you must go to recreation.ithaca.edu and create the team within the league or activity you choose to join.

For your teammates to join, please direct them to your team page for them to sign up then have them request be added to the team or you can invite them to the team.

If you need assistance with any part of this process, contact the Intramural Office at intramurals@ithaca.edu or call (607) 274-1063. Once you create a team we will contact the captain about the Captains Meeting and update you when the schedule is available.

Come to the Captains' Meeting

At least one member from each team must be in attendance of the meeting. It is typically 20 minutes long while we cover all the rules,, when and where the activity will take place, and other intramural policies and procedures specific to your activity. We will also go over viewing your schedule on recreation.ithaca.edu for anyone who has questions.

If you are not represented at this meeting, reach out to the Intramural's Sports Department or your team will not participate in this activity.

Game On!

You are now eligible to participate and will find your game schedule at recreation.ithaca.edu under your teams page. You are obligated to make all of your games or the forfeit rules will apply. However, if you know ahead of time that your team cannot make a game, you may "default" by going onto recreation.ithaca.edu or you can call the Intramural Office at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled game. For Sunday games, you must notify the Intramurals team by 5 pm on Friday.

Defaults are given to teams who notify or claim to not be able to make a game at least 24 hours in advance or by 5pm the day the Friday before a weekend event
