Training & Documentation

Web and video conferencing has become an integral part of most any college and university.  It can be used for very simple purposes, like a one-to-one call using Skype, or it can be a full-blown webinar with many people in attendance.

If you would like to schedule time to train on this software or need help to plan your own, please fill out our web conferencing form so we can better assist you.

Zoom is a new video and web conferencing tool for Ithaca College and is now available to all students, faculty, and staff. Zoom allows for video, audio, and screen sharing. It can be used from any computer, laptop, tablet, or phone, and it works on PC, Mac, Android and iOS devices. Zoom also works with rooms equipped for video conferencing such as Polycom, Tandberg, etc. Any IC user can initiate a video or audio meeting, allowing Zoom to be used for online meetings, webinars, and more.

Documentation can now be found at IT Knowlege Base
