Prior to becoming vice president, I held various positions in IC’s admission office, working extensively with prospective and current students and their families. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing many IC alumni, and collaborating with faculty, staff and others. I’ve served on many committees and working groups on campus, and have held leadership positions in professional organizations.

What skillsets and perspective do you bring to the steering committee?
I strive to be a good listener, and love to engage in creative ventures. I understand data, higher education and demographic trends, and also bring a good sense of IC’s recent history. Above all, I try to always put the best interest of our students at the center of what I do.
What motivated you to join the steering committee?
This is an important moment in time, full of extraordinary challenges and opportunities. Ithaca College is an educational institution with limitless potential and I’m excited to be part of a collaborative group of individuals who will help our campus community answer important questions about the future.
What is your major hope for the strategic planning effort?
My hope is that we — as a campus community — will make brave, student-centered decisions that lead us to being the best possible version of Ithaca College.
What do you love about Ithaca College that you hope will never change?
I know that every single thing about Ithaca College does and will change. My hope is that those changes are always positive ones.
