Availability and Access to Food

This program allows students to become familiar with the community of Ithaca and the public concern of food security in Tompkins County

Three students help stock the campus food pantry.

Global climate change has impacted our environment and at Ithaca College, we have dedicated our efforts to support the greater good of our city. Students interested in service learning through leadership, social change, and sustainable lifeskill resources then this is the program for you!

Students will walk on campus to the food Pantry, take the TCAT for transportation to the Commons and eat lunch at DeWitt Park, and learn about opportunities for volunteering in the community.
