Ithaca College Music Forum: Guest Lecturers present in the Whalen School of Music

The Ithaca College Music Forum brings scholars onto campus to present their research!

"Music in The Twilight Zone: Hearing Rod Serling's Vision."

Dr. Reba Wissner, author of A Dimension of Sound: Music in The Twilight Zone, will be discussing Ithaca College's own, Rod Sterling and his music from "The Twilight Zone." She is a leading scholar of 1960's television music.

Friday February 17th, 2017 from 5-7pm, in the Whalen Center for Music, McHenry Lobby.

This event will not only include Dr. Wissner's lecture, but also a reception with food, AND a screening of an episode of "The Twilight Zone!"

Dr. Elizabeth Medina-Gray will be giving a talk on video game music! This event will be held on March 29th at 5pm in McHenry Lobby. Dr. Medina-Gray's scholarship will also conveniently be presented prior to that evening’s concert of video game music by the Gamer Symphony Orchestra! The concert will be in Ford Hall beginning at 8:15 pm.

All presentations are free and open to the public.
