What is your proudest moment from your time at Ithaca College?

My proudest moment from my time at IC was the first orchestra concert of the 2019-2020 school year. After waiting for that moment for more than three years, I can say that it was definitely worth the wait.

Are there any Clubs, Activities, or Involvements that you were a part of at Ithaca College?

I was a member of Mu Phi Epsilon and the Ithaca College Flute Association!

Who are the staff, faculty or mentors who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

Paige Morgan has been the most influential faculty member throughout my journey. She helped me get through the toughest moments during my college career and always encouraged me to keep going. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me over the past four years. Between the classes, juries, and my independent study, you’ve shown me nothing but kindness and I hope to be half the mentor, teacher, and person you are one day. Thanks to you, I’ll always remember that I am enough.

Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

My parents and my grandmother have been the most influential people throughout my college journey. They come to as many concerts and recitals as they can, despite living in a different state, and if they can’t be there in person they always livestream it. Thank you for always supporting me and pushing me to keep going at my lowest and darkest moments. I couldn’t have done it without you!

What do you plan or hope to do now that you have graduated?

I’m taking a year off and staying in Ithaca! After that, I’m planning on going to graduate school for flute performance. In the future, I hope to play in a professional orchestra and become a professor at a Conservatory or University!
