New Incoming International Students
We look forward to meeting you at the International Student Pre-Semester Program, August 18 - 20, 2019. All new international students are required to be in Ithaca by 9 a.m. on Sunday, August 18, in order to attend the mandatory pre-semester program sessions. Note: The residence halls will open on Saturday, August 17, for early arrivals.
The International Student Pre-Semester Program is free and parents, family, and friends are invited to attend. There will be a special session for parents on Sunday afternoon, however, parents and families may join all other sessions that are of interest. We also invite all new Ithaca College students who are coming from overseas to join us for the International Pre-Semester Program - regardless of immigration status. Every year, many students who have U.S. permanent residency or U.S. passports (but are coming to us from abroad), choose to attend the Pre-Semester Program and have found the sessions to be helpful.
Following the International Pre-Semester Program, you will transition to the Summer Orientation which will introduce you to all the other new students, to everything you need to know about IC and Ithaca, you will also meet your academic adviser, and you’ll finalize your course schedule. For general information about the academic orientation, please go to the following link: www.ithaca.edu/orientation/ or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. Our office works closely with the Office of First Year Experience to reserve spaces for all incoming international undergraduate students for the August Orientation.
See you in August!
