Step One: Activate your Netpass account.

By completing the steps outlined in the email you will receive from registrar@ithaca.edu (after you confirm your enrollment), you will gain access to all of the technology available to you as an Ithaca College student. The email will include your college ID number and activation Pin; you will need both to activate your Netpass account.

  • Go to ithaca.edu/passwords?action=student_activate.
  • Enter College ID Number (provided in the email you will receive from the registrar's office).
  • Enter Activation Pin (provided in the email you will receive from the registrar's office).
  • Be sure to write down your Netpass username and password! (You may want to take a screen shot.)

Step Two: Set up your Duo Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

When you log in to Ithaca College systems (email, Sakai, etc.), you will be required to confirm your identity via Duo (MFA).

  • Register your device at ithaca.edu/it/services/duo/device/.

Step Three: Access your Ithaca College email account.

  • Go to apps.ithaca.edu.
  • Click on Outlook Web App to set up your account and view your messages. (Log in using your Netpass username and password.)
