Staying Healthy

Ithaca College offers resources right on campus to keep your student healthy -- both physically and mentally.

Hammond Health Center

A staff of full-time physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and lab technicians provide medical attention to your student at the Hammond Health Center. They offer treatment for injuries and illnesses, including medications, X-rays, and laboratory testing, and can continue established treatment regimens, such as allergy desensitization.

Center for Counseling and Psychological Services

Does your student need help with a crisis? Short-term counseling? Guidance in dealing with the demands of academic life? Staff at the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services are ready to help.

Center for Health Promotion

The Center for Health Promotion strives to create a campus culture that supports health-encouraging behaviors and environments. Here, your student will find information and guidance about how to handle alcohol and drug use, sexuality and sexual health, eating concerns, stress, and more.

Center for LGBT Education, Outreach, and Services

IC's campus is home to a diverse, vibrant, and engaged community of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and allied students. The Center for LGBT Education, Outreach, and Services supports those students by fostering academic success and personal growth.

Fitness Center

The college's Fitness Center is a great place to work off steam, reduce stress, and stay in shape. The center offers a host of cardio and weight machines, classes, intramural sports, a climbing wall, and an outdoor pool.
