New A&E Center Benefits All IC Students

On October 15 the new Athletics and Events Center held more than 900 alumni, parents, friends, and faculty and staff during the formal dedication dinner. Over 100 more student-athletes, performers, and volunteers assisted during the event.

The A&E Center is a result of more than 2,800 donors contributing to the 180,000-square-feet complex -- a venue for student exercise and Bomber athletics, as well as musical, educational and cultural events such as Commencement, concerts, conferences, and speakers.

Inside the A&E Center is a field house containing the Glazer Arena, aquatics pavilion, a lighted outdoor stadium with a turf field, and outdoor tennis courts. The building also includes athletic- and strength-training facilities, hall of fame display, press box, athletic offices, team meeting rooms, and locker rooms.

We have met our project goal, but all additional gifts will be used for operating and program expenses. Or you can name a locker or add a tribute to the wall of honor. We hope you will visit when you are on campus and see just how the A&E Center has contributed to an even more vibrant campus.
