While it is impossible to entirely close off our campus, there will be critical changes that will be implemented for the fall semester:
- Access to our campus will be limited to current members of the Ithaca College community (students, faculty, and staff) and those who have been invited by the college as approved by a vice president.
- Although helpers will not be permitted in residence halls or other buildings on campus, students residing on campus will be permitted to have helpers assist them with the move in/move out process.
- Scheduled visitors, such as vendors, contractors, or affiliates, will be permitted with vice president approval in order to continue business operations on campus.
- College-supported non-essential travel will not be permitted and personal travel outside of the Central New York area is strongly discouraged for employees and students. Individuals choosing to travel out of state should be mindful of New York State requirements for quarantine when returning from high COVID-19 incidence states, which will be enforced by the College at the individual’s cost.
