"I began at DoSomething.org as an intern the summer after my
sophomore year and now work full-time as a Marketing Associate. My
experience as an Integrated Marketing Communications major really
helped me stand out as an applicant because even as a sophomore I
was able to show how I applied what I had learned in the classroom
to help promote student organizations and social causes outside of
the classroom. One of the things I really love about the IMC major
is that you can apply the skills you learn to whatever you're
passionate about. I absolutely love that in my current position I
get to combine my passion for social change and pop culture to
encourage thousands of young people to take action around causes
they care about."
