IMC Major Marc Phillips 13 Awarded Esther Lee Scholarship

The Advertising Club Foundation awards the Esther Lee Scholarship to Marc Phillips ‘13, an IMC major at Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications. The Esther Lee Scholarship fund was created in honor of Esther Lee, senior vice president, brand marketing and advertising, AT&T, who was awarded “Advertising Persons of the Year,” along with her AT&T colleague.

The fund acknowledges deserving students studying in the field of advertising, marketing or communications. Marc receives a $5,000 scholarship and an invitation to attend the Stars of Madison Avenue ceremony to receive the award at the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan on Oct. 1.

Marc said, "I express my deepest gratitude to The Advertising Club of NY and Esther Lee for selecting me as a winner of one of this year's 'Advertising Persons of the Year' awards. It is an excellent feeling to be recognized for your leadership and professional experience as an undergraduate student."

The Advertising Club Foundation continues to be committed to supporting and recruiting the brightest young minds into the industry. The Foundation's educational program provides undergraduate scholarships and internships along with other educational opportunities for the future leaders of the advertising industry.
