Marc Phillips, '13, has been admitted to the prestigious and highly competitive International Radio and Television Society’s (IRTS) Summer Fellowship Program. Phillips was one of only 15 chosen out of a pool of 1,000 applicants. The IRTS Fellowship Program gives participants the unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in the electronic media industry by working full time for a New York City-based media corporation for a nine-week period.
As a part of his Fellowship, Marc will be working as a paid intern in account management for Ogilvy & Mather, one of the world’s largest marketing communications companies. The agency’s clients include American Express, Coca-Cola Company, IBM, Unilever, BMW, and SC Johnson, as well as other Fortune Global 500 companies and local businesses, through its network of more than 450 offices in 120 countries. Ogilvy & Mather is part of the WPP Company (NASDAQ: WPPGY).
“Being granted this incredible fellowship is the highlight of both my professional and academic careers,” said Marc. “Working as a paid intern at Ogilvy & Mather has been my dream for the past two years. This will not only benefit my career, but also current and future Park students looking for a connection to the agency.”
