What is your favorite part about being involved with the Catholic Community?
The Catholic Community has done so much for me upon arriving to campus in the fall of 2015. Some of my first friendships were formed here; friendships that are still near and dear to my heart today. This is because those friendships are Christ-centered, which is something I was deeply longing for upon arriving at college. Three years later and about to begin my senior year at IC, I can tell you that the Catholic Community has been my home away from home these past few years. I have formed some of my deepest friendships here and have grown immensely in my faith through the vibrant celebration of the sacraments and the fellowship provided here. There are so many opportunities for spiritual growth whether through attending one of the many retreats offered throughout the year, coming to Mass or simply sitting in the sanctuary and praying. There are also many opportunities for fellowship with some of the most caring and loving people you will meet at IC. The Ithaca College Catholic Community to me is truly home. I am so ecstatic to be serving as the Service and Social Justice chair for my senior year and I am so excited to see the wonderful ways our community is going to continue to grow together during my senior year.
