Refuge

"O taste and see that the Lord is good; happy are those who take refuge in him."-Psalm 34:8

Refuge is a brief, simple service of prayer, scripture, and Holy Communion led by our Chaplain in which we lift our hearts up to the Lord together in worship and reflection.  It is intentionally held in the middle of the academic day to provide a time and space to be still, center ourselves at the foot of the cross, and remember together who we are and whose we are.

Tuesdays 12:15pm-12:45pm in the Chapel

Evensong

Evensong is a student led worship service held in Muller Chapel every Wednesday at 9:00pm, consisting of music, witness, fellowship, and prayer.   All are welcome to join us to praise God through song, be encouraged by individual student stories of faith, and be connected to Christ and his body in prayer. Each gathering begins with fellowship prior to the service (starting around 8:45) in order to meet new friends and reconnect with old ones.

Contact Dan (dthien@ithaca.edu) to get involved.  The worship band meets ahead of time to rehearse, pray, and prepare to lead their peers in a meaningful, quality time of praise and worship.  If you're thinking of stopping by, please do.  There's a place for you and your gifts!
