Panelist: Film Music Mixing & Sound Editing

Nicholas Renbeck is a supervising sound editor based in New York City. After graduating from Ithaca College in 1992 with a BFA in film, photography, and visual arts, he began his career as an apprentice sound editor at C5 Inc., working on Jonathan Demme’s award-winning Philadelphia. Over his 25-year career, Nicholas has credits as a sound editor, dialogue and automated dialog replacement editor, music editor, sound effects editor, and re-recording mixer. He has worked most recently as a supervising sound editor on Succession, The Night Of, Love & Mercy, Happy! and Bird of Prey. He has won two Primetime Emmy Awards. One for outstanding sound mixing and another for outstanding sound editing for The Night Of. He has also won Golden Reel Awards for his work on The Night Of and Love & Mercy.
