||Fulbright Scholar Programs offer faculty, administrators, and
professionals grants to lecture, conduct research, or participate

Overseas Research Centers, Multi-Country Regional Research
||Awards up to $10,500 to U.S. doctoral candidates and postdocs
for advanced regional or trans-regional research in the humanities,
social sciences, or allied natural sciences. Fellowships require
scholars to conduct research in more than one country, at least one
of which hosts a participating American overseas research
International Research and Exchanges Board (IREX), Individual
Advanced Research Opportunities (IARO)
||Supports students, scholars and professionals to perform policy
relevant field research, in the countries of Eastern Europe and
Eurasia, in up to three countries for up to nine months.
Science Foundation, International Research Experiences for Students
||Projects must involve U.S. students conducting research at
foreign sites with appropriate foreign expert mentorship. Projects
are organized and proposed by U.S. institutions and U.S.-based
Principal Investigators, who arrange the specific research topics,
foreign site placements, appropriate foreign research mentorship,
and necessary local resources, and then recruit and prepare U.S.
students to participate in these experiences.
Science Foundation, Catalyzing New International
||The CNIC program will support U.S. researchers' participation
in activities intended to catalyze new international collaborations
designed to open up new scientific directions for the proposer.
These include, but are not limited to: research planning visits,
initial data gathering activities, proof-of-concept, and single or
multiple research visits within a maximum 12-month time
Academy of Science, Selby Fellowship
||Fellowships are awarded in all fields of science to
distinguished overseas scientists to visit Australia for public
lecture/seminar tours and to visit scientific centres in Australia.
Fellows are expected to increase public awareness of science and
scientific issues and accordingly will be outstanding lecturers to
the general lay public. Up to $A10,000 is available to cover
economy airfares and assistance towards living expenses.
