Creating informative job descriptions not only makes it easier for you to verbalize what you are looking for in a student employee, but allows students with the desired skills to hone in on the position you need. In general the more information you can provide, the happier you and your future employees will be. Here a few examples of job forms for different departments and job series around the Ithaca campus.

Feedback is a useful tool for indicating when things are going in the right direction or for redirecting problem performance. Your objective in giving feedback is to provide guidance by supplying information in a useful manner, either to support effective behavior, or to guide someone back on track toward successful performance.
