Combine an exploratory yoga practice, great for individuals with little or no experience, with mindfulness strategies that you can incorporate into daily life. This activity class is open to everyone and will be focused based on the interest of those who attend.
Do you think flexibility is a prerequisite to practicing yoga or that meditation is not for you because sitting still sounds impossible? Meditation and other mindfulness-based tools are adaptable to everyone’s lifestyle and experience level. Yoga is a practice – not a destination. Potential benefits of this practice include:
Expanded physical and emotional awareness
Increased flexibility and strength
Increased breath capacity
Holistic approach to self-care
Participants should wear comfortable clothing in-which you can move around a yoga mat (i.e., avoid jeans or other constricting clothing). Bring your own yoga mat and towel to class. Mats will be provided for students who don't have their own.
All you need to bring is a sense of curiosity, play, and desire to enhance your overall wellbeing.

Yoga asana (movement) provides an opportunity to manage stress, support our physical and emotional selves, and ground into the present moment. During this time, we will explore ways to connect our movement with our breath through a vinyasa-flow yoga class. Whether you are just curious about yoga or have an established practice, this workshop is open to all.
Creating intentional moments to practice self-care is a super potent way to maximize or replenish your internal strength and resilience. During this series, we will discover ways to incorporate simple mindfulness strategies (like meditation, self-massage, and mantras) into every part of your day.
