As with the three-week residential program, students enrolled in one course, connected virtually with faculty members and fellow students in and outside of class, and earned two to four credits. The cost for the remote, five-week Summer College program in 2020 was $2,080.
Students connected at least twice in one-on-one meetings with peer-leaders who served as mentors and access-points for the suite of virtual activities scheduled throughout the program both for Summer College students and the IC community-at-large.
Students engaged with faculty and one another regularly during the week, and during optional synchronous and asynchronous meeting opportunities possible before and after scheduled class periods, in the evenings, and on weekends.
Summer College students also connected with IC first-year and continuing sophomores, juniors, and seniors in a variety of co-curricular activities, social events, and performances.
