Each Student Institute musician will be scheduled for 3 core classes each day: masterclass, repertoire class, and an enrichment (visit our enrichment page to see options!). Book 5+ violinists, book 3+ violists, and book 4+ cellists will additionally be scheduled for orchestra.
Classes are scheduled beginning at 8 am (EST) Monday and break for lunch from 12:00- 1:30 pm. Each day, students are invited to attend a 2:45 pm play- in (if not in orchestra at that time) as well as a daily 4 pm student recital.
Week 1 is our designated viola week, if you're a violist, please join us week 1!
Check in for both weeks is Sunday from 1-4 pm (EST). Events will finish by 5:30 pm on Friday (please join us for an optional institute party at 7:15 on Friday if you can!). For those staying on campus, check out is Saturday at noon.
