One of the reasons I love Ithaca College so much is because of the environment the college provides for students to pursue their many passions. This semester, I plan to participate in ICTV, Women in Communications, the National Association of Black Accountants, the New York Film and Television Student Alliance, and Nutrition Club. In addition to my co-curricular activities, I intend to volunteer downtown at the State Theatre of Ithaca. Throughout my time at Ithaca College, I aim to study abroad, work for Park Productions, and form meaningful connections. More than anything, I want to make the most out of my four years at IC by trying, failing, learning, and trying again. Repeating this process will only bring me closer to my goal of becoming the best storyteller I can be. Being a Park Scholar has provided me with a platform to acquire skills that I can use to serve others and do the work that really matters. I will forever be grateful to have been awarded this opportunity by the Park Foundation, and I plan to pay it forward for as long as I am able.
