Frequently Asked Questions
What materials are required for home-schooled applicants?
We encourage students who have met their local and state regulations for school at home to apply to Ithaca College. Home-schooled applicants will need to provide documentation that they will have attained a high school diploma or the equivalent upon completion of their home school curriculum. Students matriculating in the fall term must provide documentation by July 15th. Students matriculating for the spring term must provide documentation by December 15th.
Students who are home-schooled or who attend high schools that provide only descriptive report cards (rather than alphanumeric grades) must submit either SAT or ACT scores. Students must arrange for official scores to be sent from the testing agency.
A non-parental letter of recommendation is also required for home-schooled students.
