School of Health Sciences and Human Performance
Ithaca's School of Health Sciences and Human Performance prepares you for the growing health care industry. Our faculty members are dedicated to your learning and will get you involved in their research. And once you're ready to step into fieldwork, you'll find plenty of opportunities. Your in-class learning will be supplemented by hands-on clinical work in our on-campus clinics or off campus in local classrooms. And we are affiliated with nearly 1,000 healthcare organizations across the nation, venues for you to hone your skills while gaining real-world job experience. You can also stretch your legs in our human performance majors. What better way to prepare for a career in health education or physical education than with observation and work in the classroom? Or perhaps you'll find your niche by working for outreach programs like WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) or interning as a community health educator. Whatever your choice, you're sure to find a good match and a great opportunity to give of yourself.
