Reactivate Application

It’s possible to reactivate a previous application to Ithaca College if you have applied for admission within the past two years. To reactivate a prior application you must complete the Request to Reactivate Application form. If you applied for admission more than two years ago, you need to submit a new application.

If you previously applied as a freshman, your application for admission should have included:

  • Completed Common Application
  • Official high school transcript
  • Official SAT or ACT with Writing report (optional)
  • Guidance counselor recommendation
  • Application fee of $60

If you previously applied as a transfer student, your application for admission should have included:

  • Completed Common Application
  • Official final high school transcript (including date of graduation)
  • Official college transcript(s) from each college attended
  • A letter of recommendation
  • Application fee of $60

Any materials missing from your original application must be submitted along with your Request to Reactivate form. If you are reactivating your application for music or theater, you must contact those departments directly to schedule a new audition/interview. Any of the following materials that may have been updated since your original application should also be included:

  • A current letter of recommendation
  • Official final high school transcript (must include date of graduation)
  • Official college transcript(s) from each college attended

The deadline to submit all required documents is:

  • Spring freshman and transfer admission -  November 1
  • Fall freshman admission -  February 1
  • Fall transfer admission -  March 1
