These two site offer a rich range of background material, context from the time, and the chance to see a large range of different politicals ads since the dawn of the TV era. Note that you can search the Living Room Candidate site by issue and type of ad -- might be a good way to think thematically about the ads. They are rather fascinating. Venture forth!

After perusing this material, write something about something in these sites, being sure to discuss what you think is historically significant.
Can I be more vague? These are such diverse, eclectic websites, and I don't want to force you to do any one thing or to go in any one direction. Find something in this wealth of material that entrances you, and write about it, but in a historically-sensitive way.
