Jason Harrington is assistant professor of Cinema, Photography and Media Arts at Ithaca College.  He is an animator.  His work has show nationally and internationally.  His most recent film, The Tree with the Lights  received multiple awards, including Best Animation (SNOB Film Festival), Best Animation (DIGit Film Festival), and the Aglet Award (Red Rock Film Festival).  Other  films include  Origin, which showed at the Cork International Film Festival, Changing Light Series, and Discrepancies.  His work often includes a range of animation techniques.  Trained in traditional media, including drawing, painting and sculpture, Harrington incorporates these skills into digital media formats.
