Joshua Tucker is a journalist, filmmaker, and political organizer. He learned documentary and investigative journalism in the international arena, working in India, Latin America, and West Africa. He began his career as a political organizing as the youngest paid staffer on Governor Howard Dean’s presidential campaign. He has worked on five different campaigns, for two PACs and as a consultant with a D.C. firm. His decade of growing political leadership culminated when he ran a candidate’s campaign for state representative in 2010. He had previously co-managed a successful fifty thousand signature ballot access drive.More recently, Josh has worked as a public radio, multimedia and print journalist in Alaska, with the Alaska Public Radio Network, the Anchorage Press and National Native News. He graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Public Communication in 2011. We Can’t Eat Gold, is his first feature-length film.
