We Can't Eat Gold (Joshua Tucker, United States, 2013; 45 min.) The EPA will rule in June 2013 on a permit for the largest open pit mine in North America. The film offers an opportunity for Native elders and youth to share perspectives on their traditional ways of life and the threats posed by the proposed mine. Throughout the film, Native Alaskans are given unprecedented opportunities to share their ecological knowledge in the contest of one of the biggest environmental battles of 2013.
