Andy Watts is a screenwriter and filmmaker based in upstate New York. He's won a number of grants for his short scripts Bibles and Concrete (New Line Cinema, Alfred P. Sloan Foundation), reached the semi finals in the prestigious Academy Nicholl's Fellowship in Screenwriting, and currently has two feature film scripts under development. His short films have played on air in The U.S., Latin America, and Japan as well as numerous film festivals through out the world. He is currently working on a documentary film focused on a theatre program inside the Auburn Correctional Facility, a maximum security prison in upstate New York. Andy teaches both screenwriting and cinema production at Ithaca College.
