The chemistry club travels to local schools and other institutions to put on chemistry shows, has various social get-togethers throughout the year and occasionally hosts prominent speakers. The chemistry club meets most weeks on thursday at 12:15 in CNS 333. Please come by and join the club!
February 29th: Fun and games night: We'll show a Disney movie at 5:30 in CNS 333 followed by a crazy night of playing Wii on the big screen and tournament-style poker for chem club prizes. Come by and test your zombie killing and bluffing skills!

The chemistry club performed its annual "Spooky Science" Halloween show at the ScienCenter, the local science museum. We did two shows to a packed house, in all about 400 kids and parents dressed as ghouls, goblins, superheroes (and other weird characters) were in the audience. It was a blast! Check out the photos!
This year the chemistry club decided to organize an End-of-the-Semester Dinner party on the third floor of the Center for Natural Sciences. The turnout was fantastic: at least 60 people made an appearance! No wonder, the meal was catered by Taste of Thai and was really fantastic. After dinner, several people brought anonymous presents for the "Secret Interdenominational Holiday Entity" gift swap. Some memorable gifts include Scott's autographed can of Grandma Brown's Baked Beans, Akiko's pirate costume, and Eilan's invisible ink pen. The photos have arrived.

Our chemistry majors performed a series of chemical demonstrations for "Spooky Science Day" at the Ithaca ScienCenter in October of last year. A record number (250!) people enjoyed the show! Pictures are available here.
