Mathematics Majors Present at Seaway Math Meeting
On Saturday, April 14, 2012, four mathematics majors presented their work at the Mathematical Association of America Seaway Section Mathematics Meeting, held at Hamilton College.
Taylor Borcyk, '13, presented "Power Distribution in a Weighted Voting System". This work was completed with Professor Stan Seltzer.
Scott Constable, '12, presented "Elliptic Curves and Modular Forms: Application to Cryptology". This work was completed with Professor Dave Brown.
Michael Griffith, '14, presented "Figurate Numbers in Arbitrarily Many Dimensions". This work was completed with Professor Osman Yurekli.
Sheraz Iqbal, '12, presented "Where are Limits Needed in Calculus?" This work was completed with Professor Jim Conklin.
