Assistant Professors Brandy Bessette-Symons and Beth Caldwell, Associate Professor Judith Pena-Shaff, and Professor Barney Beins made presentations at the National Institute on the Teaching of Psychology in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Professor Barney Beins (Psychology) has published an article in the journal Teaching of Psychology entitled "Using History to Teach Contemporary Psychology." The article outlines the use of historical material in psychology to show how ideas evolve in a discipline and emerge in their current form.
Six students presented three posters of their work on the Psychology Department’s Humor Research Team at the annual convention of the New England Psychological Association in Fairfield, Connecticut on Saturday, October 29.
