Clara Johnson and her mother are travelling in Italy together, marveling at the history that lies within each stone and pebble. By chance, Clara meets Fabrizio, the love of her life, and the two make plans to be married. Clara’s loving, yet overbearing, mother puts a stop to the couple’s plans, fearing that a hidden family secret will be revealed. But, in the end, not even she will stand in the way of the true love Clara and Fabrizio share.
