Rochester Center

A feature of the IC PT program is a dual-campus arrangement.

Students spend one undergraduate summer and the entire final graduate year at our Rochester Campus benefiting from the seven full-time IC faculty, outstanding facilities (recently renovated by Ithaca College), and the Rochester area health care community. Rochester is about 100 miles, or less than a two-hour drive, from Ithaca.

Ithaca College maintains a teaching and research facility in Rochester, NY on the campus of the Colgate Rochester Crozier Divinity School (CRCDS on South Goodman St. at Highland Ave.) and has an affiliation with the University of Rochester and Strong Memorial Hospital.

The Ithaca College/CRCDS facility enables IC faculty and students to take advantage of the extensive health care providers and the experiences in metropolitan Rochester, and other facilities throughout Monroe County. An agreement with the University of Rochester allows IC PT students to use facilities at the University of Rochester Medical Center and Strong Memorial Hospital, as well as access to other U. of R. facilities such as libraries, computer services, and recreational areas.

The IC campus in Rochester is primarily used as the base for the summer Human Anatomy course and the final graduate year of the physical therapy program.
