Hosted by regional alumni
in 19 different cities across the United States, "send-offs" are
the Ithaca College Alumni Association's way of welcoming incoming freshmen.
August 30 Annual Alumnae Field Hockey Game
Yavits Field, Ithaca College
There will be a 10:00 a.m. "warm-up," 11:00 a.m. game, and a 12:30-2:30
p.m. picnic.
September 3
U.S. Open-Metro New York Alumni Club
The U.S. Open will be held
in the Arthur Ashe Stadium at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing.
Invitations with the time and pricing information will be mailed to all
Metro New York alumni.
September 21
Founder's Day Concert
Sponsored by the Friends
of Ithaca College, this concert will be held in DeWitt Park at 2:00 p.m.
Free and open to the public.

Abroad
The Ithaca College Wind
Ensemble, with guest conductor Rodney Winther, has been invited to participate
in the British Association of Symphonic Bands and Wind Ensembles Convention
in Canterbury this fall. The wind ensemble will also be performing at the
London Center, the Royal Academy of Music in London, and the University
of Limerick in Ireland. |
