Seeking Faculty Feedback Regarding Secure Testing Software Solutions

By Jenna Linskens, October 1, 2023

The Secure Testing Solutions sub-committee (under the purview of the Educational Technology Advisory Committee) has been tasked with determining the need to formally adopt a secure testing solution at Ithaca College. Examples of testing solutions being discussed include lockdown browsers and proctoring services that create the ability to deliver exams remotely while keeping in mind academic integrity and fair testing environments.

In order to make sure recommendations to senior leadership are representative of college-wide needs, we are soliciting faculty feedback through a Qualtrics survey https://ithaca.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_abG5hhKjuPGvQGi
Open for responses through Monday, October 9, the survey should take no longer than 5 minutes and asks about what tools within the chosen testing solution would be most important for faculty/staff to have access to. We appreciate your participation in this process.

Please contact ETAC Co-chair Jenna Linskens (jlinskens@ithaca.edu) with any questions or additional feedback you have regarding secure testing software.
