The Ithacan won first place for Special Topic Email Newsletter in the 2023 Pinnacle Awards, presented by the College Media Association on Tuesday in Atlanta at the ACP/CMA Fall National College Media Convention.
The Ithacan placed third for General News Email Newsletter, Newspaper Website of the Year and Best Organizational Diversity Initiative. The Ithacan also received honorable mention for Best College Media Group of the Year and Sports Email Newsletter.
In the Best of Show Awards, presented by the Associated Collegiate Press on Wednesday, The Ithacan placed second in the Newspaper Category, seventh in the Website Category and ninth in the Newsletter Category.
Earlier in the week, The Ithacan was presented with the Online Pacemaker Award.
