Wednesday November 16 at 4:00 p.m. in the Clark Lounge.

Rabbi Greenberg is an openly gay Orthodox rabbi and a founder of the Jerusalem Open House, Jerusalem's LGBT community center and home to World Pride 2006. After coming out publicly, Rabbi Greenberg appeared in the film Trembling Before G-d, a documentary about gay and lesbian Orthodox Jews.

Following the film's release in October 2001, he joined the filmmaker in an outreach project carrying the film across the globe as a tool for spiritual renewal, social change, and community dialogue. He is also the author of Wrestling with God and Men: Homosexuality in the Jewish Tradition (University of Wisconsin Press, 2004).

This event sponsored by: Hillel, the Jewish Studies Program, the OMA Center for LGBT Education, Outreach, and Services, and prism, with support from Cornell's Jewish LGBT student group Ga'avah and several departments at Cornell University. Free and open to the public.
