On Monday, February 2, Pendleton Professional-in-Residence Steven Ginsberg moderated a panel on the television industry as part of the Media Industries course for Los Angeles program students. The panel included very successful ICLA alumni including:

Dave Rogers '92 - Director and Emmy award winning Editor of NBC's The Office

Larry Teng '99 - Director and co-executive producer of NBC's Medium

Erin O'Brien '97 - Live Producer of Dancing with the Stars

Gregg Goldin '95 - Director of development for Cartoon Network Films

Steve Kerem '95 - Segment producer for MTV and VH1 on "Bromance" and "Behind the Music" among many others.

Panelists offered insight on the state of the current industry as well as reflections on past experiences, recalling their own LA internships. Each panelist also detailed their daily routines and gave students an inside look on just how a television show is made. Students were given the opportunity to ask questions following the panel and engage in a lively discussion.

This panel is part of a four-part series organized by Steven Ginsberg, Stephen Tropiano, Changhee Chun and the staff of the Pendleton Center.
