Professor Zillah Eisenstein of the department of Politics has been asked to donate her papers to the Brown University’s Pembroke Center Feminist Theory collection.  This collection will consolidate, organize and digitize “the papers of scholars and critics who have transformed their disciplines as well as the field of feminist theory”.

The Center is recognized as an “important resource that makes the work of several formative generations of thinkers accessible to researchers”.  She will send a first installment of selected documents later this year.

Way to go Zillah! This is an enormous honor for you. But my deepest regret is that our own home institution and our own IC library didn't ask you first. You've transformed this campus and thousands of students over the years with your uncanny clarity, your intellectual ferocity and your ethical grounding in the world.
