At 12:10 PM on Monday, November 16, 2009, a special Mass of Remembrance will be offered in Muller Chapel to honor the Jesuit Martyrs of El Salvador. On November 16, 1989, Salvadoran government soldiers entered the priests’ residence at the Jesuit University of Central America. These soldiers dragged the six Jesuit professors, and their housekeeper and her daughter, from the residence and brutally murdered and mutilated them. Defending the poorest of the poor in war-ravaged El Salvador, these scholars spoke truth to power, and for this they were killed. Let us never forget! Question's contact Fr.
