Are you full of school spirit? Do you want to meet Alumni who share that enthusiasm? Then volunteer as a Student Ambassador for Ithaca College’s 2012 Alumni Weekend.

We are looking for students to assist on Friday, October 12 and Saturday, October 13 in a variety of volunteer roles – registration staffing, greeters, and shuttle riders. Volunteers will commit to a minimum of a 2-hour block. Shifts on Friday are:  8am - 10am; 10am – 12pm; 12pm – 2pm; 2pm – 4pm; 4pm – 6pm; and 6pm – 8pm.  Shifts on Saturday are: 7am – 9am; 9am – 11am; 11am – 1pm; 1pm – 3pm; 3pm – 5pm; and 5pm- 7pm.

Each volunteer is required to attend one of two training sessions where you will receive your shift and specific assignment.  Training Session 1 is on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 6pm – 7pm in Textor 103. Training Session 2 is on Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 12:10pm – 1pm in Textor 101.   All Student Ambassadors will receive a free t-shirt.

If you would like to serve as a Student Ambassador, please email Lynne Pierce at lpierce@ithaca.edu no later than Friday, September 28, 2012. In the email indicate which shift(s) you can do, and which training session you will attend.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact the Office of Alumni Relations at alumni@ithaca.edu.   We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible
