This message is extremely disappointing. This message does nothing to
inform the students about the incident or make any efforts to educate the
students about the gravity of this incident. This just sounds like the school
trying to make excuses and defend itself from the fact that The Ithacan
exposed its inefficiency in addressing the issue.

As a Jewish student who has been dedicated to Holocaust education and
awareness for over 6 years, and as someone who lost numerous members of
my family in the Holocaust, this message means nothing to me.
