The Ithaca College cheerleading squad attended the COA 2005 Open National Championships in Niagara Falls N.Y. on Saturday. The competition was held in the Niagara Falls Conference Center. There were 47 different squads registered at the competition and more than 1,600 cheerleaders competing. We participated in the All-Female Non-Tumbling Division. We finished first in our division with a score of 310 out of 400. This was the first competition the squad has ever attended in the three years of its existence. The squad consisted of 14 cheerleaders.
