Overview
Paul Geisler has over 20 years experience as an athletic trainer, exercise physiologist, sports performance expert and educator. He has given numerous lectures, symposiums, and training seminars to sports medicine and golf professionals throughout the U.S. and Sweden. Author of three book chapters and a training manual on golf medicine, he has worked with over four dozen professional touring and collegiate level golfers on injury prevention and rehabilitation, and performance. He has also worked extensively with youth, collegiate and professional baseball players, especially pitchers. In recent years, he has focused on soccer injuries and performance. As an educator, Dr. Geisler has presented numerous talks and has published several papers and a book on the role of creative and critical pedagogy methods to educate college students beyond the realm of their disciplinary preparation. His current scholarship focuses on clinical education, professional development, and sports performance.
