Meg Jamieson is a filmmaker and teacher whose work moves rests primarily between forms: non-fiction and essay, poetry and performance.
Her work has been screened in major festivals, in the United States and abroad, and been awarded such honors as the Student Academy Awards, the Isabella Lidell Arts Award from the Ann Arbor Film Festival, and a Princess Grace Award for her film "The Saint Inside of You"
Her works have also screened at the Pacific Film Archives, Chicago Filmmaker's, The Black Maria Film Festival, the Athens Film Festival, Big Muddy and San Francisco's New Docs.
completing her undergraduate degrees in Writing, Theater, Philosophy and Art, Meg Jamieson worked as an instructor at a Community Media center, taught writing and storytelling, and found her way to the University of Iowa's Film Production program, where she worked With Leighton Pierce, Franklin Miller, Dudley Andrew and Lauren Rabinovitz.
