Richard Lowry graduated from the University of Virginia in 1990. As a student there Lowry studied English and History, in addition to editing a conservative monthly magazine called the Virginia Advocate. Following graduation Lowry went to work as a research assistant for Charles Krauthammer, who was reporting for a local newspaper in northern Virginia.

Lowry joined National Review in 1992, after finishing second in a National Review young writers contest. He went on to become Articles Editor for the magazine before moving to Washington to cover Congress in the summer of 1994.

Lowry was named editor of National Review in 1997. He currently writes a bi-weekly syndicated column for King Features and is a political analyst for Fox News. He has written for the New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Reader's Digest, and a variety of other publications.

A talented public speaker, debating is Lowry's strongest forte. He is an opinionated man who is unafraid to share his views, no matter what the topic. He provides a powerful and memorable presentation that will leave audience members with much to reflect upon.
