Pendleton Center
The Los Angeles Program is housed in the James B. Pendleton Center, named in memory of Mr. Pendleton, who upon his passing in 1995, left The Roy H. Park School of Communications a $14 million endowment. The center, which opened in the spring of 2000, is a five-minute walk from the Oakwood Apartments student housing.
Pendleton Center Resources:
- Classrooms – Lecture, classroom and conference rooms all equipped with TV/VCR/DVD systems.
- Faculty Offices – Academic, career and residential advisors on staff.
- Computer Lab – PC/Mac lab with high-speed Internet connection and B&W laser printing capabilities.
- Wireless Internet – Available office-wide and free-of-charge.
- Library – Reference material and periodicals available on all academic and industry-related topics. Contains tv script/film screenplay library.
- Video/DVD Library – DVDs and videos available for use at viewing stations or to check out.
- Student Lounge & Kitchen – Big screen TV/VCR/DVD systems, couches and chairs. Vending machines, refrigerator, microwaves and toaster.
- Student Mailboxes – Latest announcements and new internship/job opportunities from L.A. Center; correspondence from main campus and letters from home; industry–related events open to ICLA program students.
